We have an apartment!

So exciting! We chose Apartment #2! Yesterday Myriam came with us to talk with the landlord, and everything was taken care of smoothly. Our lease begins on Wednesday, but he gave us the key yesterday so we can start cleaning and moving things in! It is funny to think of "moving" because all we really have is clothes. Our 8 duffel bags should be on the road again soon :)

Today we are going with Michel and Blanca to check out some second hand shops for furniture. I am really looking forward to this. I love antique/junk hunting. I can't wait to see what we find.

On another note, last night was really fun. Daisy and Brent had some young couples over from the church, and we had a good time playing cards and the Wii. It was great to meet some new people and hang out.

A happy weekend to you all! TBC ladies, have fun on your retreat. I wish I could join you!

Great deal.. I really like this one, glad the lease thing worked out. Casa Sandoz will be right in the heart of the city - so cool. Wish we were there to help you clean and move in!

Congratulations and... good choice-it has a lot of character... and once you can get things painted and fixed up it will have your character. Hope you find some good deals on furniture and stuff. And maybe the next TBC ladies' retreat they should just all load up and fly out for a painting party at your place... that would be a retreat I would definately go for! keep us updated on how the furniture hunt and move in goes!

Yay! I am so excited!
I was thinking... maybe you should leave the paint like it is and go out and buy a television and paint it purple... perfection.

i love that you picked #2. the location of #2 trumps the only slightly better interior of #3. :)

i agree with jocelyn's plan for the next ladies' retreat. i am on the planning committee. i'll see what i can do. ;)

can't wait for the next installment -- furniture shopping!

Yay! It must feel so good to have a place to call home and get set up Sandoz style. #2 was my fave. ;)

Good luck with moving the big stuff. Maybe you can take pictures of the cherry picker like machine.

Take care
